All clubs need fundraising of some sort to keep the club alive and Lynn Avon United AFC is no different. We hope that all members will support all fundraising events we hold in some way.

Our key fundraising events are; The Horse Racing Night, Darts Night, Quiz Night and Senior Prizegiving.  We would be keen to include other annual events to compliment these.  Please contact us if you have ideas and or an interest to assist with fundraising activities.

All money raised through club activities goes towards the running of the facilities and football resources which ensures that football is inviting and inclusive for all in our community.


ANNUAL PRIZEGIVING - October 

Focussed more on honouring the people who, play, coach, volunteer and work tirelessly in the club than fundraising - it is a night to celebrate the standouts from the season just gone. Meal and fun covered in the $25 door charge.


ANNUAL HORSERACING/DARTS FUNDRAISER - June /July/August 

A fun night of racing the wooden horse with chances galore to take home more than you came with.  Open bar, warm food and endless laughter make this a filling and memorable night.


PINK RIBBON EVENT - May

Lynn Avon United AFC, ran a Pink Ribbon Quizz Night for women footballers affected by the disease. Proceeds go to help support the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ's vital work. The money raised will be used to fund research projects and medical grants to help improve survivorship, as well as support patients and their families during treatment and recovery and ultimately getting women back on the footy field.
